Very insightful and heartwarming week kick-started the MedLim medical device startup program by Medtronic, LIOF, Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus BV, Rabobank, and imec.istart!

Besides the sophisticated workshops, we enjoyed a lot of peer experience sharing between our companies - Clouz, NovaTechs, IMPLICAN B.V., MedicubeX Ltd, MiWEndo Solutions, Neoflow Technologies Ltd, and Kelvin Health.

It was a pleasure to have the almost constant company of great mentors and ecosystem builders from the contributing organizations, like Dannick Ritt, Karlijn Thijssen, John Janssen, Pieter van der Linden, and Erik Vervloet.

Last, but not least, big thank you to Andrea Bongers, Arantxa Wille, and everybody else who hold the whole program together.

Our tour around the beautiful, welcoming, and strongly developed Limburg region ended with visits to the massive Maastricht UMC+ and the high-tech medical device oriented coworking space Medace BV.

Three weeks of online workshops, one-on-one sessions, and interactions followed, providing a lot of insight on running a medical device venture.

Special thanks goes also to Mark Lazeroms for the warm welcome and also sharing the inspiring story of Medtronic and his own path to the company over our welcome dinner.

The program successfully concluded on the 8th of May and opened many opportunities for collaboration that will unfold in the next weeks and months!
