Kelvin Health (hashtag#LSIUSA24 Innovator) is aiming to advance the standard of vascular care by providing accessible non-invasive precise diagnostics of PAD/CLTI and carotid hypoperfusion problems based on the combination of mobile thermography and AI.
The company uses a mobile thermal imaging camera to capture the heat of the body and then analyzes those images with AI to detect anomalies related to vascular conditions. The company's technology offers new insights intended to improve the management of patients with vascular diseases.
Unlike the time-consuming and potentially imprecise, especially for patient with diabetes, ABI/TBI and Doppler ultrasound, Kelvin Health's solution enables even the non-specialist to perform rapid and precise non-invasive vascular triage and peri- and post-procedural monitoring.
🌟 Kelvin Health has achieved several major milestones recently including:
• Created the world's largest cardiovascular disease thermal imaging dataset containing 8,400+ thermal images of 1,100+ vascular patients
• Joined the American Heart Association Center for Health Technology & Innovation's (the Center) Innovators' Network. The Center is focused on building and fostering health technology relationships to develop innovative and scalable solutions.
• Partnered with AccessMedica to assist Kelvin Health in successfully entering the US market.
• Awarded additional grant funding from the European Commission as part of the DIGI4CARE consortium which aims to popularize and democratize access to digital healthcare.
• Recognized by the InvestBulgaria Agency as one of the five most impactful startups in the country for 2023, across all industries.
• Is currently working on closing multiple new R&D partnerships with HCPs across Europe and the US, progressing with its CE marking process, and supporting a wider range of thermal cameras.
We’re excited to announce that CEO, Georgi Kadrev, has been selected to present Kelvin Health at LSI USA ‘24 this March 18-22 in Dana Point, California. The presentation is scheduled for March 21st.
